Indian Mujahideen

A group called the Indian Mujahideen has claimed responsibility for the blasts calling it a revenge for the Gujarat riots.

The group sent an email moments before the blasts and chillingly, the first blast took place within five minutes as they warned.

The home ministry has said the group needs to be investigated as it is the same outfit that had sent a threat mail claiming responsibility for the Mumbai and Jaipur blasts.

The group sent a 14-page email to select TV channels.
