Nuclear Weapons : Seeds of Terrorism

The Asian doomsday is not far as the three competing powers are fast becoming obsessed with nuclearization. After India got through a successful nuclear deal with the United States, there were talks of China voting for a similar deal with Pakistan. A Pakistan scientist Abdul Khan had started his own laboratory after he was thrown out of the Pak premier labs. He had completed his post graduation from a premier school in United Kingdom on fundamental particles. He had good knowledge of developing nuclear weapons and was successfully working with Pakistan’s nuclear labs for developing nuclear reactors for energy. His senior, Dr Wasim Khan had caught him working on an experiment, which would have led to the development of nuclear arms in Pakistan. Dr Wasim, being an ardent follower of Robert J Oppenheimer had vowed to work for the destruction of nuclear arms at the root itself. Robert J Oppenheimer was the man behind the Manhattan project for developing atom bomb. After seeing the power of...

Nuclear Power and lord krishna

I was recently reading the chapter, 'India and the Bomb' of the book 'Argumentative Indian' by Amartya Sen and I was quite moved and enlightened too as it highlighted the devil hidden in the nuclearisation of nations, especially long time enemies and brothers, India and Pakistan. I've used the term brothers since both of us share the same kind of people with similar thoughts. If you go anywhere abroad, you'll find Indians and Pakistanis being the best friends. Although we become totally different when we reach our home countries. Going back to the early days of the bomb, the father of the atoic bomb, J. Robert Oppenheimer qouted the bhagawad Gita after his team,Los Alamos tested the atom bomb, in the trinity test in New Mexico. "If the radiance of a thousand suns were to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the mighty one. Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds." That was the reaction of the father of the son, which we...

Nuclear Deal:Pakistan says it will start arms race, bull shit

External affairs minister Pranab Mukherjee made it it clear that the nuclear deal was for a purely civilian use as India dismissed the talks of Pakistan saying the nuclear deal will begin an arms race. Arms race is still going on. It does not need this nuclear deal to catapult in to a new sphere. There is open information that china is giving its technology to Pakistan to make lethal nuclear weapons. It is also known that terrorists are hiding in Pakistan as Obama talks of bombing parts of the country with suspected terrorists groups. Pakistan is cribbing about a deal that can catapult its rival brother with the world's second highest GDP to become a future world dominant power. The United States of America is using India against china and Pakistan along with the latter are trying their best throw India off key. This deal I would say isn't something we should be very proud about since now the whole world knows that Indian MPs can be bought, a fact that is now accessible to ter...

Nuclear Deal: Pros and Cons

NUCLEAR or UNCLEAR Nuclear deal has currently been the center of attention. The non-allegiance of the left has put the deal in doldrums. Some top scientists of the country say that it will prevent India from developing nuclear technology for weapons and for other purposes in future. I have compared the pros and cons of the deal. It now depends on horse trading of MP's and criminal MP's. Imagine our future in the hands of criminals. WTF Pros India is a developing economy and to maintain its current growth it needs power to run its industries. In a country like Germany 60% of the power comes from nuclear power plants. To grow into a super power we need power To support our growth we need power, else the shortage will affect our growth and hence standard of living in a significant way. cons India is an agro nation. Hence we need to focus on our strengths and develop our agricultural practices. This deal will effect our sovereignity in future Indian nuclear power plan...
