Surat saved as 18 bombs diffused

AHMEDABAD: In a day of “battle with bombs,” the Surat police on Tuesday unearthed 18 live bombs and its bomb squad succeeded in defusing all of them, averting a major tragedy in the second largest commercial centre of Gujarat. It was the third consecutive day live bombs and explosives were found in Surat. As panic spread in the diamond and art silk city, all schools and colleges were closed and children sent back home. Shutters of cinema halls and shopping malls were also downed. These places will remain closed on Wednesday too. Whether the terrorists were playing a hide-and-seek game with the police or all the bombs were planted simultaneously was not clear. But the bombs were found almost one after another from day-break till evening. Of the18 bombs, as many as 10 were found in the labour-dominated Varacha Road and Katargam areas alone, striking a similarity with Saturday’s bomb blasts here, where the labour-dominated old city areas were targeted. The bombs and the explosive-laden ca...

The Intellgience Bureau claimed that this is a new ploy by terror outfits to misguide investigating agencies. Intelligence sources said the Indian Mujahedeen is just a name used by outfits banned by the Indian government. The sources said the Indian Mujahedeen comprises activists from banned outfits like Harkat-ul-Jihad-e-Islami and the Students Islamic Movement of India. The sources said Friday's blasts are the handy work of the HuJI, which has been held responsible for both the Hyderabad and Ajmer Dargah blasts. The heat was on the HuJI and hence it was important for them to give their outfit a new name in India. The Indian Mujahedeen also has youngsters who were part of SIMI. There are reports that several youngsters from the banned outfit had been recruited into various terror outfits including HuJI....

Manmohan Singh not a weak prime minister

Advani has always treated the PM in a manner not expected of a leader of a political party that boasts at being different. PM has in the past also commented on being called a weak PM, “that whether or not he is weak will be judged by history”. And he made history on 22nd July by taking India ahead on nuclear path not by exploding a bomb but using it for peaceful purpose of generating Electricity for the country. He also proved to the country that he is not a weak PM by taking on Advani and exposing the Pseudo-intellectualism of Advani and BJP. Even the BJP is aware of the importance of the nuclear agreement and its benefits to the nation. Their allies like the Shiv Sena and the Akalis have openly said that the agreement is good for the country, but BJP under Advani has tried to stall the passage of the bill so as not to give the credit to Manmohan Singh who has staked his every thing for the progress it can bring to the country. Advani to belittle the PM is even willing to stop the ag...

Bombs rock Ahemdabad as terror strikes twice

At least 13 serial blasts in crowded market areas in the space of 20 minutes rocked the Gujarat capital on Saturday night leaving two killed and 48 injured. The low-intensity explosions occured at eight areas of Maninagar, Isanpur, Narol circle, Bapunagar, Hatkeshwar and Sarangpur bridge, Sarkej and Odhav and created a wave of panic. This is the second time that terrorists has struck a blow in 2 two days. First it was Bangalore and now ahemdabad is facing a similar crisis on a slightly larger scale. Few people in this world who have no value for their life have decided to terrorize the lives of innocents and hence leaving the world in chaos. The timing of the serial blasts comes just after the nuclear deal. Past: Some of the bombs were believed to have been placed in cycles eerily similar to the Jaipur blasts on May 13 in which 65 persons died. A couple of bombs were reported to have been placed in tiffin boxes in a modus operandi similar to the explosions outside a Lucknow court la...

Nuclear Deal:Pakistan says it will start arms race, bull shit

External affairs minister Pranab Mukherjee made it it clear that the nuclear deal was for a purely civilian use as India dismissed the talks of Pakistan saying the nuclear deal will begin an arms race. Arms race is still going on. It does not need this nuclear deal to catapult in to a new sphere. There is open information that china is giving its technology to Pakistan to make lethal nuclear weapons. It is also known that terrorists are hiding in Pakistan as Obama talks of bombing parts of the country with suspected terrorists groups. Pakistan is cribbing about a deal that can catapult its rival brother with the world's second highest GDP to become a future world dominant power. The United States of America is using India against china and Pakistan along with the latter are trying their best throw India off key. This deal I would say isn't something we should be very proud about since now the whole world knows that Indian MPs can be bought, a fact that is now accessible to ter...

Nuclear Deal: Pros and Cons

NUCLEAR or UNCLEAR Nuclear deal has currently been the center of attention. The non-allegiance of the left has put the deal in doldrums. Some top scientists of the country say that it will prevent India from developing nuclear technology for weapons and for other purposes in future. I have compared the pros and cons of the deal. It now depends on horse trading of MP's and criminal MP's. Imagine our future in the hands of criminals. WTF Pros India is a developing economy and to maintain its current growth it needs power to run its industries. In a country like Germany 60% of the power comes from nuclear power plants. To grow into a super power we need power To support our growth we need power, else the shortage will affect our growth and hence standard of living in a significant way. cons India is an agro nation.
