RCOM subscriber base crosses 50 million

Anil Ambani's Reliance communication crossed a subscriber base of 50 million becoming the fifth mobile operator in Asia to do so. The company also announced that it had added 1.74 million subscribers in june 2008. It has also added 5 million subscribers in the first quarter of this fiscal.
Bharti Airtel has added the maximum number of subscribers in june 2008 at 2.55 million. It now has a total subscriber base of 69.3 million.
