Unrest in the world is erupting from small incidents from practically every corner of the world. Now comes Bangladesh where a mutiny broke out in the Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) after angry soldiers held hostage the director general and couple of other high rank officers. The soldiers were apparently angry because of low pay scales. That makes me realize that I too live in a country where soldiers are not paid well for their role in taking this nation forward. I mentioned this in a previous post that signs from the top brass of the Army indicate the unhappiness over the governments attitude towards them. Probably the signs are clear for the government to focus attention from jawans from babus.
