These days many websites are giving expert advice and connecting people with similar needs. Career counseling is one such service. Big exams such as CAT,GRE,IIT JEE are few such opportunities that open the big door for counseling and coaching. All the counseling done offline is now going online. But the problem is that the big fishes who did career counseling offline smartly went online quite early hence left little scope for startups with just an online venture. This presents start ups as limped minnows in front of big fishes as they add lesser value.
As of now I feel career councelling and coaching in India needs more of an offline service supplemented by an online service if the intention is to be big.
